Most kitchens are honed, repaired, resurfaced if needed, and resealed in a single day. Larger projects, or ones needing several overlay layers can take longer.

Will it make a mess in my house?

No. The honing is a dustless process, and the work area is protected and cleaned before we leave. There is no demolition and nothing gets torn out.

Can I be in the home while you work?

Yes. Our equipment is a bit on the loud side but because the process is dustless, you can stay home and go about your day. We only need access to the surface itself and the room around it.

Can stains and cracks actually come out?

Diamond honing takes the surface back to raw concrete, which removes most stains outright. Cracks, chips and other surface damage are filled and repaired before sealing. Where damage runs deeper, a cement-based overlay creates a new surface.

Is the sealer safe for food prep?

Yes. We finish with three coats of a high-performance, food-safe sealer rated for kitchen countertops.

Three things, done well

Repair

Diamond honing removes the existing finish and takes the surface back to raw concrete, typically eliminating most, if not all, stains. We’ll also repair and fill any cracks, chips, or other surface imperfections.

Resurface

When necessary, we’ll apply multiple layers of a cement-based overlay to the entire countertop or sink, creating a completely new concrete surface with a fresh, seamless finish.

Reseal

Three coats of high-performance, food-safe concrete sealer are applied to protect and preserve the newly restored surface.
